Aspen Airport (ASE) Located 3 miles from downtown Aspen.
Airlines include United and Delta. Flying time from Denver
is 1/2 hour. Rental cars, taxis, hotel shuttles and City
bus (free) available for transport to town. (Rental car
is not necessary in Aspen - most locations are within
walking distance or local shuttle route).
Eagle/Vail Airport (EGE) Located 70 miles from Aspen. Several
airlines. Drive time is approximately 1.5 hours. Rental
cars and Colorado Mountain Express available for transport
to Aspen.
Denver International Airport (DEN) Located
approximately 180 miles from Aspen. All major airlines.
Drive time is approximately 3.5-4 hours. Rental cars and
Colorado Mountain Express available for transport to Aspen.

DRIVING
DIRECTIONS FROM DENVER TO ASPEN
I-70 West
from Denver to Glenwood Springs, Highway 82 SE out of
Glenwood Springs towards Aspen. You will pass Carbondale,
El Jebel, Basalt and Snowmass. Approximately 4 hours.
The Scenic Route is over Independence
Pass. I-70 from Denver to Copper Mountain, Highway
24 South through Leadville, Highway 82 to Aspen. This
is a seasonal pass and will not be available during
extreme weather conditions, but it is a beautiful drive.
This drive is not recommended in the evening as it
is dark, steep and windy. Approximately 3.5 hours (but
you’ll want to stop along the way)
